The Guest List (2020)

Review by Lightfury
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I picked this book expecting this to be better than The Paris Apartment because, in that review, everybody seems to say this book is better but.. I think it's pretty similar..

The first 70% of the book is monotonously building of character which I do not fancy, I prefer to have emotions & feelings to be more involved but I like the setting of it on a deserted and isolated island which creates thrill as compared to the apartment.

Similarly to The Paris Apartment, the pace of the book only picks up after, when it releases the twists and full story of each character which keeps you flipping. it revolves around one guy that everyone loves and a female 'heroic'.

It's a book that's good to read if you just wanna kill time.
