The Santa Suit (2021)

I enjoyed reading this book, it’s soft and slow. This is about “a welcoming town, a family reunited, a mystery solved, and a second chance at love”

A divorced lady, wanting to start over in a new place, out of the city. From wanting the farmhouse to be renovated to accepting the farmhouse as it is as she knows how much this farmhouse means to the people in town.

She came across Santa’s suit and she found a piece of note that she wants to unfold the mystery. This note is from a little girl who wants her daddy to return from the war.

“Who wrote the note? Did the man ever come home? What mysteries did the Rose family hold?”

In romance, this is up my alley, it’s slow but you see the progression. Would I say this is love at first sight, I wouldn’t because of the attitude that the lady has towards the guy when she have her first look around the house. The guy helped her with her problems and it slowly develops.

I would definitely check out more books from Mary Kay Andrews.

Anyway, it’s near the end of the year and I hope I have inspired you to do some reading yourself. I still have 1 more book towards my goal (24 books in a year, and I only start reading about end October), meaning I will have 1 more book review coming before the year ends.
