If the Fates Allow: A Short Story (2021)

If you only have a few hours or if you are not committed enough to go through days for a book, this is for you.

This is probably the most relatable story due to the existence of Covid. People are avoiding or preventing contact in 2020, especially with the elderly, so Christmas was quiet and in 2021, with most people vaccinated or had got the virus, they have all come together as a family for the festive. There isn't much character build up in this book. The romance is in that moment.

But then again, short story, can't expect much.
